Head's Welcome

Welcome to Ditton Infant School’s website. We pride ourselves on our small school ‘family’ feel and on our close links with our surrounding community. We believe pupils should leave Ditton Infant School as resilient members of the community, with a thirst for learning, and a desire to be the best they can be.

We have a highly passionate and dedicated staff team at Ditton, who all work together to ensure that our children are provided with a stimulating and challenging curriculum. The well-being of children and staff is the highest priority of the school and we work closely with our families and the community to achieve this.

We celebrate children’s successes, both in and out of school, in our weekly celebration assemblies which are a delight to be part of. Children’s behaviour at Ditton Infants’ is exemplary and children are encouraged to play an active role in school life. We have a School Council, Eco Council and Play Leaders all of whom work together with staff and governors to drive forwards the school’s priorities.

This website aims to give you practical guidance, curriculum information and further information about the school as whole. Please refer to it regularly as it is one of the main sources of information about the school and do not hesitate to contact the school office if you cannot find the information that you are looking for.
